Scarlet Flannel is a Boston-based cover band that grew out of a shared love for three distinct musical traditions: classic rock, 90s alternative, and the Grateful Dead. The five members - Daniel Wolf (guitar), David Onigman (guitar), Bill Funsch (bass), Matt Cameron (keyboards), and Nate Chu (drums) - came up in the 90s, diving deep into the grunge and alternative scene while simultaneously discovering their parents' classic rock records and falling in love with the Dead's improvisational spirit.

A typical Scarlet Flannel set moves naturally between these three worlds. You might catch Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" flowing into a Foo Fighters tune, before settling into a groove on "West L.A. Fadeaway."

The band draws equally from each well - some Dead classics like "Althea" and "Brown Eyed Women," choice cuts from Pink Floyd and The Beatles, and standout tracks from bands like Dr. Dog and Cracker.

The band brings the same level of care and attention to each genre, whether they're exploring Allen Toussaint's "On Your Way Down" or working through a contemporary Billy Strings number. With their versatile repertoire and polished sound, Scarlet Flannel creates the perfect atmosphere for any setting - from rock clubs to intimate gatherings and from corporate events to wedding receptions.
